This policy describes the intended limited-data version of Brinox. The current Recipe Studio sends user-approved input and language to external processors. This draft must not be published as the policy for that build.
01. Scope and eligibility
Brinox is intended for people aged 18 or older. This policy describes the limited information used to support Brinox and its purchases.
02. Information we collect
We collect only your user ID, coin information, and subscription information. Coin information includes your balance and records needed to validate purchases and coin use. Subscription information includes the purchased plan, purchase status, and entitlement period.
We use these categories only to identify your app profile, provide purchased access, maintain balances, and resolve purchase issues. We do not collect other information from the app.
03. Information that stays on your phone
Your journal entries, coffee preferences, brewing parameters, recipes, notes, photos, and other personal app content are stored and used locally on your phone. Under this policy, this content is not uploaded to us or sent to external recipe-processing services. We do not provide cloud synchronization of this content.
Camera or photo access is used only when you choose to add a photo. You can manage these permissions in iOS Settings.
04. Purchases and service providers
Apple processes App Store payments under its own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive your payment card details. User ID, coin information, and subscription information may be handled by service providers only as needed to validate purchases and deliver those services, or disclosed when legally required.
We do not sell app data or use it for advertising or cross-app tracking. This website contains no analytics scripts, tracking cookies, or contact forms.
05. Retention and deletion
We retain the limited information we collect only for as long as needed to provide purchase-related services, resolve disputes, and meet applicable legal obligations. You may request access, correction, or deletion of that information through the contact below, subject to applicable law.
You control locally stored content through the app’s editing, deletion, and Clear App Data controls. Clearing app data can remove journal content and reset local balances and unlocks. Contact us about purchased access before clearing data. Deleting app data does not cancel a subscription.
06. Security and your choices
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the limited information we handle. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights to restrict or object to processing or complain to a data protection authority.
Brinox is not directed to anyone under 18. If you believe a person under 18 has provided information, contact us so we can review and address it.
07. Changes and contact
We will update this page when this policy changes and revise the date above. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
